Iran’s Vice President Warns of Readiness for War With Israel

Iran’s First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref has warned that the country must remain ready for war with Israel. He said no formal ceasefire agreement exists, and the current calm is only temporary.
According to Arab media, Israel launched a war against Iran in June this year. During the conflict, over one thousand Iranians, including senior military commanders and nuclear scientists, were killed.
The short but deadly war heavily targeted Iran’s nuclear, military, and energy facilities. These strikes caused significant destruction and deepened regional instability.
In retaliation, Iran attacked Israeli military bases and key commercial centres with missiles and drones. Iranian ballistic missiles reached Tel Aviv and Haifa, destroying many buildings.
During the strikes, Israeli civilians and officials took shelter in underground bunkers. The Iron Dome defence system failed to stop multiple Iranian missile attacks.
The situation remains tense, with Iran warning of constant readiness. Both nations continue to prepare for future escalation, raising fears of renewed conflict.
